The Sustainable Impact Movement
Become a champion for change.
Burnout is affecting more than 50% of the nonprofit sector. But leaders are constantly expected to do more with less.
It’s time for collective unlearning.
Together, we need to unlearn the toxic productivity and hustle culture we’ve been conditioned to believe and internalize.
You see, productivity isn’t the point - because your self-worth isn’t connected to how much you produce.
This is our pledge—the first step in not just acknowledging the burnout epidemic, but giving nonprofit leaders practical and actionable tools to break out of the burnout cycle.
This pledge is our collective commitment to prioritize well-being, empathy, and meaningful impact over output and efficiency.
We hope this is the start of a much larger conversation about sustainable practices in our sector, how we challenge our assumptions about productivity, and take a stand to creating more sustainable impact - together.
This movement will focus on collective healing, collective organizing, and collective action.
As we navigate this path, we welcome insights and shared experiences. We encourage open dialogue and value each perspective that helps all of us grow and improve - because every voice matters.
It’s going to take many voices to shift nonprofit hustle culture from unrealistic expectations and outdated metrics to a space for growth and innovation.
Thank you for joining this movement.
